Dr Brendan Hayman is a consultant psychiatrist working in a combination of public and private practice.
He is a medical graduate of Monash University and a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College
of Psychiatrists. He also has a Masters in Psychological Medicine.

Dr Brendan Hayman has a private practice which involves general adult psychiatry with a special interest
in psychotherapy and counselling.

Dr Brendan Hayman has a public hospital appointment with The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Consultation/Liasion service. This involves assessing and treating general medical and surgical patients at the interface between medicine/surgery and psychological issues.

Dr Brendan Hayman has an appointment as an honorary Senior Fellow with the University of Melbourne,
Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry.

Dr Brendan Hayman is a member of Medical Panels.

Dr Brendan Hayman lectures widely in post graduate and undergraduate medical teaching.
He has a particular interest in general practice training in psychiatry/mental health.
